Inspire Me Thursday-Juice

Inspire Me Thursday's challenge Juice

I've been wanting to "paint" something with an unorthodox medium. I found that beet juice creates quite a nice wash.

Inspire Me Thursday-Push

Its been well over a week since I've posted.
Sadly enough art gets pushed to the wayside when the corporate world and home ownership take over.

Down to the wire, but this is my take on IMT's theme "Push."

All he ever wanted was just a little push.

Doofus-Monday Art Day

An unusual piece for me. But it was fun, the whole point of this blog is to try different things. For the Monday Art Day weekly challenge.

Doofus, Pen and Ink on paper

This is Dusty the Doofus. His peers in grade school thought his name to be a bit long and dubbed him "Duh". And it stuck. So now you will find Dusty or, Duh, as they say, with half a comb-over, mis-matched socks, and ink stains on his shirt. Duh tends to get distracted easily and often times sweetens his coffee with salt. He then goes on to tell the nearest person how unique and flavorful the coffee is. Even his pet bunny "Roofus", eyes him in disbelief. Duh may not be the sharpest tack, but he's still quite lovable. Come on, how can you resist that smile?

This didn't come out how I envisioned,
but sometimes art will just take its own course.

ACEOS

ACEO means art card edition and original. Also known as ATC art trading card. The prerequisite being that the art is the size of a trading card, 2.5" x 3.5". I discovered these little treasures recently, and thought it would be fun to try some.
